THE CHALLENGE
ESP was brought in by Micciolo Productions to design and build the Stereobloom stage across multiple EDC festivals including Las Vegas, Orlando, and Mexico City.
EDC operates at a scale that most production companies never reach. The Stereobloom stage runs as an independent destination within a festival that spans an entire venue footprint. The visual and technical standard has to compete with the full EDC production on every other stage simultaneously. Las Vegas alone draws over 170,000 attendees across the event run.
WHAT WE BUILT
Full LED stage design and production build for the Stereobloom stage. LED environment, pixel mapping, and full MADRIX programming. Built onsite across multiple EDC festivals in the region including Las Vegas, Orlando, and Mexico City. Operated across the full run of each festival and struck on the EDC timeline.
EXECUTION
Stereobloom was built onsite at each festival location. Pre-production planning, CAD design, and MADRIX programming were completed before any crew traveled to site. On arrival, the full stage environment was constructed, programmed, and tested within the production schedule alongside every other stage on the festival footprint. ESP operated the system live across the full run of each event and completed strike on the festival timeline.
Building the same stage design across three international festival markets required consistent logistics, adaptable installation processes, and a technical setup that could be replicated cleanly in different venue environments. Las Vegas, Orlando, and Mexico City each presented different site conditions. The system performed to the same standard at all three.
THE RESULT
The EDC credit is the most internationally recognized production credential in ESP's portfolio. Work at this level is not won through a bid process. It comes through referral, reputation, and the production designer network that connects the best technical vendors to the largest stages in the world. Micciolo Productions brought ESP in because the work spoke for itself.
